The Tree
Now that we have announced our newest additions, I want to point out the symbolism of the tree in our header. If you count, you will find 10 little birds perched in the tree, representing our 10 beautiful children on earth! There are also two little birds flying-- a perfect reminder of the freedom our Jacob and Emily have as their spirits soar through the heavens. I love it! (:

ReplyDeleteI love it!! Where did you get it - or are you hiding your talent as a graphic designer? ;) If I had a suggesion - where can we put you and Jer - you ought to be in there somewhere! And I'm thinking you need the classic Christian fish symbol somewhere near the roots - because He is - in fact - that which holds up the tree!

Lara at Designerblogs.com did this design for us-- I told her exactly what I wanted, including colors, and she put it all together. She is wonderful! Love your ideas-- but we have already done our final changes and would have to pay more for a redesign. You are so right about Christ holding us up-- and I'll just have to imagine that fish symbol there! (:
